An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a PAT Specialist or Chemometrician to join the AZ Chemical Development team at the Macclesfield site in the UK.  Chemical Development is responsible for designing and developing synthetic routes for the manufacture of the active component of candidate drugs & established medicines, ensuring processes can be scaled safely from lab to plant with a focus on robustness, consistency and commercial viability. Working alongside other PAT specialists you’ll help to develop detailed understanding of our chemical processes through the use of PAT & Chemometrics and support a number of new drug delivery and manufacturing platforms.
