The Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) is embedded within the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation.

The DTC vision is to meet the demand for highly-skilled researchers to accelerate the adoption of continuous manufacturing for the production of high-value chemical particulate products. Students will benefit from a cutting-edge, world-class four-year post-graduate research degree programme where successful candidates will emerge as PhD graduates with an international reputation for excellence in research to develop pioneering continuous manufacturing processes for the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industries.

Training will be delivered by a multidisciplinary team of leading UK academics. Alongside the excellent training opportunities, doctoral students will work with industry mentors throughout their research projects gaining invaluable experience and insights. With a vibrant programme of related events in place, the DTC offers researchers an excellent start to their careers.

The DTC provides a cohort approach to deliver the required skills with:

MSc In Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

This bespoke course is designed to produce highly-skilled graduates in continuous manufacturing science and technology to meet the growing demands for expertise in this area. Graduates will be ideally trained to take up jobs in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
