Creating a carousel requires some 'offline' preparation. You need to gather the images you want to use for the carousel and resize them as follows:
- resize the images to suit (usually make them around 250px high)
- go to members > pages > choose page > load
- click on the 'tree' icon
- load your images using the 'browse' icon (right hand side of url box)
then
- add a block > carousel of images
- give it a title
- set location (-ve before main page content, +ve after main page content)
- set height to same as images (250)
- select the first image from drop down
- add caption (optional)
click 'add another slide' and then select image and add caption for each additional item in carousel
- click save
